Does this mean I can't eat carbs at all?
No! In Bread Is the Devil, Heather breaks carbs into two categories:
"Devil carbs" such as white bread, bagels, muffins, candy, ice cream, pizza and pasta which should always be avoided. However, you are allowed one to two servings of "angel carbs" like brown rice, quinoa, baked sweet potatos, corn and butternut squash per day.
