Try Chocolate Mastic soft serve with crushed pistachios.

Victory has never tasted so sweet (and tangy).

Stop by Victory Garden NYC for a treat and you'll notice something unusual: you won't feel bloated after having a scoop of the West Village shop's soft serve dessert.

That's because it's made with fresh goat milk (meaning even the lactose intolerant can enjoy). We double-checked the details with founder Sophia Brittan before sending our dairy-sensitive New York editor on a taste-testing mission. (Check out more reasons why goat milk gets her stamp of approval). Here's the scoop:

  • Looks can be deceiving. It looks like ice cream but contains less fat than cows' milk.
  • It's in good taste. The Regular flavor is a bit tangy; our editor fell in love with the sweet Salted Caramel. Flavors change seasonally, meaning only the freshest ingredients are used--click here to see what's available this weekend.
  • There's more than meets the eye. Don't stop by for dessert only! Other menu standouts include a chia seed parfait made with homemade cashew milk, and the Lebanese White Coffee, which is a refreshing mix of orange blossom and hot water. Plus don't miss the kale and lentil soup--it's the perfect winter pick-me-up.

Brittan isn't kidding around.
