Something very hot is brewing in Tribeca.

Dear Hugh Jackman,

While we didn't quite have a coffee date with you (though our invitation stands), we felt closer than ever when we visited your recently opened Laughing Man coffee in Tribeca.

We stopped by on a chilly day last week and immediately warmed up with a sinfully rich hot chocolate (pictured). Hugh, you've ruined us for all other hot chocolates. We'll never be able to even look at a mix again. Though we were more than satisfied with your incredible cocoa, we expect to be pining soon for another fix: perhaps a coffee or tea from the counter, or if we're truly jonesing, we'll order your favorite drink.

Please know that, between us, size does not matter. There may be no room for seats in the shop, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in heart...how sweet of you to give all profits to charity!

We'll be thinking of you at home tonight, when we try this coffee granita recipe that you shared on The Martha Stewart Show last week.

So Hugh--let that percolate.
