Pumpkin For Your Skin
You'll fall for these DIY treatments.
Pumpkin contains enzymes that can help naturally exfoliate and brighten skin. Harvest these recipes from NYC-based Haven Spa:
- Pumpkin scrub. Purée 5-6 tsp. pumpkin pulp in a blender. Mix in 3-4 tsp. brown sugar and, if desired, add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra brightening, or a few drops of pumpkin seed oil for extra moisture. Massage gently onto skin; rinse clean.
- Pumpkin smoothie. Mix 1 c. cooked pumpkin pulp with 1 Tbsp. honey; apply as a moisturizer.
