Vital Tested: D&I Method
Punch up your routine with this full body workout.
We like workouts with a little kick to them. But when we were winded after just the warmup at this UES studio, we knew we'd better brace ourselves for a big kick!
The D&I Method combines a one-two punch of traditional Muay Thai boxing with strength and conditioning training. (Think lots of kicking and punching mixed with jumping rope, spider crawls and more.)
Here's what we love about the full-body workout:
- Striking out. Not only did we feel the burn in our rear ends and arms from all the kicking and punching, but the multiple rounds of striking and jabbing had our hearts pumping. (Read: major calories torched.)
- It's camera-ready. D&I Fitness' owner, Delon Nelson, was formerly the head trainer for the Miss USA Pageant and he's trained celebs such as Vanessa Minnillo and ESPN host Chris Fowler.
- You can take it home. Ready? Try these two sculpting moves that are used to build strength and endurance.
Get in fighting shape.
