A Very VJ Story
You'll love this chapter from Jill Kargman's new book.
We almost choked on our energy bar while reading NYC author Jill Kargman's new book, Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut: Essays and Observations.
Did we just discover an entire chapter devoted to our beloved SoulCycle? Dubbing the studio her "spinagogue," Kargman shares her life-changing (and body-sculpting) moments on the bike.
A former believer in the theory that "working out makes you fat," Kargman finally gave exercise a shot after two friends dragged her (almost literally) into their SoulCycle class. And she told us that February marks her one-year anniversary of being initiated into the "cult," as she calls it. (You can find her there five times a week.)
So what happened in spin class? You'll have to pick up the book (HarperCollins) to hear the whole story, but we're sharing an exclusive peek into Kargman's spinagogue--read an excerpt of her fitness epiphany here.
Want more? Stop by Kargman's book signing and brief reading tonight, 7PM at McNally Jackson in SoHo.
Just don't mention these, or things might get a little nutty.
