Swinging Lunge

Squeeze your butt for an extra workout with these swinging lunges.

  1. Lunge forward with right leg, keeping torso upright, hands on hips. Right knee should not extend past toe and left knee should graze the ground.
  2. Stand up, keeping weight on right leg, and gently lift left leg straight behind you (between a 45- and 90-degree angle off the ground), squeezing glutes.
  3. Swing left leg forward into the initial lunge position and repeat exercise on right leg.
  4. Do 20 lunges, alternating legs.
