Torso Twist
- Sit back on your knees and place hands on floor about one foot in front of knees. Your torso should be angled about 45 degrees forward.
- Leaving the left palm firmly on the floor, place right hand behind head and rotate chest to bring right elbow to meet left elbow (Picture 1 above).
- Rotate chest to the right and try to point your right elbow towards the ceiling (Picture 2 above).
- Repeat 6-8 times, then switch to the left side, each time feeling the twist in your mid- to upper back. Lower back should remain stable and hips and seat should be fixed in place on top of your heels.
