Vital Tested: Velocity Quick-Dry Spray Tan
Go from snow-white to tropical tan--minus the downtime.
After two blizzards, one snowcane, and plenty of rain, our normally fair skin looks downright gray. So when we heard about the new Velocity Quick-Dry at Sundara Airbrush Tanning, we were intrigued. Here's how it works:
Preventative measures: Sundara's senior technician, Natalie Cupid, provides Sticky Feet (think fly tape) to protect bottoms of feet from absorbing color and keep them line-free. Cupid also applies a polish-like latex on nails to avoid orange cuticles.
Assume the position: Cupid leads you through a series of poses, providing you with complete and even coverage in under ten minutes. The Quick-Dry formula contains a rapid-binding DHA (the ingredient that bronzes skin), along with the natural color additives black walnut extract and caramel.
Wait for it: Instead of waiting up to eight hours to shower post-airbrush, you can rinse in just four. Our tester was sprayed at 3PM and washed and ready for a dinner date by 8PM. Her plus-one's remark: "Were you on vacation?"
That's our little (dark) secret.
The Quick-Velocity is $25 extra on top of standard rates, but Vital Juicer's can get it free--see details below.
