Step up your workout with this new studio's boot camp class.
Boot camp usually brings to mind camo'd instructors barking orders.
But at the new 360Fit Studio, founder Shanna Farrar dispenses with all the ten-hut business and still delivers a serious calorie-burning workout. Here's what to expect:
Be a baller. For about the first 20 minutes of class, Farrar won't let you put your weighted ball down, pushing your arms to exhaustion.
Take the stairs. The class is in a high-rise building, but mercifully, Farrar only makes you walk from the 11th floor up to the 20th. (Twice!)
Slide along. A series of moves done on Gliding discs target your core while helping to tone all over. (Check out 360Fit's Glide class on Thursdays.)
After a few sessions, your body may just do a 180.
