Greener Pastures
Gina De La Chesnaye
A new Brooklyn gym provides a one-stop eco-shop for all your mind, body and wellness needs.
Besides the slew of top restaurants, there are a few other things that will inspire a visit to Brooklyn:
1. A third date with a scruffy musician named Ben.
2. The Botanical Gardens.
3. A fourth date with Ben.
Now, we've discovered another very good reason to make the trek to 347 territory: Green Fitness Studio, a recently opened, sprawling, eco-friendly space that offers private training, fitness classes, a spa, juice bar and more. A few of the not-to-be-missed deals and discounts:
• Each class, from hatha yoga to hip-hop, is $15--a pittance compared to Manhattan prices. For $60, you get a 5-pack of classes, and for $110, a 10-pack.
• Become a member for $150 (plus monthly fees) and take advantage of the studio's grand opening special: a 30-minute nutrition consultation plus 25-minute fitness evaluation, a second 55-minute one-on-one fitness session, and $50 to spend on services of your choosing.
• Post workout, unwind at the spa where a 30-minute facial and 60-minute massage will run you only $110.
It's a date.
