Gettin' Siggi With It

Siggi's

Our favorite yogurt brand brings the flavor.

We like our yogurt the way we like our pals: tart and tangy over sweet and syrupy any day.

That's why we love Siggi's. (The Icelandic style yogurt is strained to contain more milk than regular yogurt and two to three times the protein.) We spotted three new flavors on the shelves and talked to Siggi, himself about the latest launches:

• "Vanilla is usually so sweet but we started playing with it, trying to make a vanilla without all the sugar," he says. The result: A deliciously creamy concoction lightly sweetened with agave nectar.

• Like the vanilla, Siggi wanted to make an açaí flavor that wasn't overly sweet. "The berry is kind of nutty," he says of the antioxidant-rich fruit.

• The final flavor, grapefruit, is a Siggi fave. It's made from white grapefruit, the more tart of the two. "It's hardcore," warns Siggi. "You either love it or you don't--like blue cheese." (We love.)
