Want a rock-hard body? You've got to move it, move it. Only the brave need apply to CrossFit LA, the workout that vows to "crush you" into shape with a different series of hot-bod-making moves every time you show up. It's Marine-tough, say devotees, but takes as little as 20 minutes.

The scoop: The ultra-popular program is moving to 3201 Santa Monica Blvd. on April 5. You can test your mettle now with this do-it-beside-your-desk workout, created by owner Andy Petranek, exclusively for you:

Take a seat. Start by standing up from your chair and sitting back down. Now, remove the chair and copy the motion for a perfect squat.

Tear into it. As fast as you can, complete 50 squats and 25 pushups, then 40 squats and 20 pushups, 30 squats and 15 pushups, 20 squats and 10 pushups and finally, 10 squats and 5 pushups. "A fast squat is like a little jump," says Petranek. "Just be careful not to lose the form."

Put it on pause. Can't continue? "Stop, shake yourself out, and try to finish," encourages Petranek. "If it's too much, try halving the number of repetitions." (Change 25 to 12, 15 to 7 and 5 to 2.)
