Julie Morris' Love Berries are lovely to the taste.

We heart these healthy Valentine's Day desserts.

What's better than indulging on Valentine's Day? How about tasting treats that could make you look as red-hot as you feel?

We asked LA-based chef Julie Morris for some raw DIY Valentine's goodies that won't give us the too-much-butter blues. The LA-based chef and author of Superfood Cuisine: Cooking with Nature's Most Amazing Foods is known for creating nutrient-rich recipes, and her divine chocolate concoctions top our love list. Here are her picks for surefire seduction (PS, they taste great eaten solo, too!):

  • No-Bake Brownies: Fruits + nuts + superfoods = quick, easy, tasty brownies! In five minutes, you'll "go from zero to brownie" using ingredients like fiber-filled medjool dates and nutrient-dense raw walnuts.
  • Mini Chocolate Cupcakes: According to Morris, this brownie's secret weapon is its ultra-rich, fudge-rific frosting. Alongside ingredients like mashed avocado and agave nectar, the star of the show is raw cacao paste, which is full of antioxidants.
  • Love Berries: Who doesn't love chocolate-covered strawberries? They're even better when they're made with cacao butter, agave nectar and coconut oil.

And choc it up to a great date.
