Go for the Gold
Get a body like a skater's--off the ice.
Want a long, lithe skater body like Michelle Kwan's or Kristi Yamaguchi's?
Find your inner Olympian with Deborah Brooks, personal trainer and co-creator of Edgeworx Sport Fitness, a system made to give non-skaters a skater's physique. Having become a competitive ice skater at age 50, Brooks knows skate training can yield a rockin' booty, improved muscle tone, better balance and endurance. She developed Edgeworx in tandem with her own skating coach, Brandon Larcom, and the two now train clients one-on-one all over town off the ice.
Edgeworx sessions can include everything from TRX to Pilates to Plyometrics to weight training, plus skating-inspired toning moves. Want to try? Get two skating-style moves here.
Edgeworx also offers an icy-fresh dose of motivation—says Brooks, "We try to give the personalized attention someone like Evan Lysacek would get from one of his coaches."
That's cutting edge.
