"Zenify" Yourself

Take a breather. Call it meditation if you like. Wherever you are, take a few moments to close your eyes, breathe calmly and picture yourself in a relaxing environment--a beach, a park, a cozy couch. Think positive thoughts!
Turn up the tunes. It's no secret that music can boost your mood. Turns out it can change your brainwaves, too! Classical music or even natural sounds are a great way to go. Wake up to some of these calming sounds to start your day in alpha mode.
Get active. Depending on the kind of person you are, different activities can set your brain on the right course. Adrenaline junky? Try surfing. Like to keep your feet on the ground? Hiking could be the way to go.
Treat yourself. A massage does more than relax your muscles--it helps your mind focus, too. If that's not on today's agenda, a little yoga with meditation will go a long way toward Zen-ing out.
