Dear Vital Juice,

I love going out for Asian food, but I'm really sensitive to MSG. Am I just a glutton for punishment or are there some amazing spots I haven't discovered?

Dear NFN,

Good news: MSG-free Asian restaurants exist—you just need to know where to look. We did some digging and uncovered two new favorites.

For hearty eaters: In Silver Lake, things are really sizzlin' at this Mongolian BBQ favorite. Picks for your self-serve BBQ bowl include all-natural, antibiotic-free meats and seafood (hello, Angus beef and tiger shrimp!) and farmers' market-plucked fresh organic veggies. Top it all off with low-sodium, MSG-free soy sauce and savor every good-for-you bite!

For adventurous types: If you're craving authentic Korean, try this under-the-radar K-Town diner. Once you decipher the mostly Korean menu, you'll find gems like abalone jook, organic tofu salad, purple rice, and scrumptious pumpkin soup. All of the food is MSG-free, and only live abalone and fresh ingredients are used.

Way to spice things up.
