There's something new to adore here.

In this town, it's not easy for a restaurant with natural and organic, gourmet-level vegan dinners and working gal prices to fly under the radar. Yet it's happened. Here's the delicious secret: Larchmont Bungalow is rolling out a vegan menu, and it's great.

The new dishes--Green Vegan Enchiladas, Tofu Scramble Sensation, Vegan Cobb Salad, Maple Bacon Tempeh Club and more--are organic and locally sourced wherever possible. We went wild for the Vegan Chicken Tostadas (pictured), a mixture of beautifully spiced, grilled "chicken," creamy vegan mozzarella (really), puréed black beans, guac, crunchy lettuce and cabbage and succulent sauce atop crisp, warm, homemade tortillas. Imagine the best nachos you've had, and you're on the right track.

And though it isn't vegan, the gluten-free carrot cake muffin is a moist, fruity, perfect-for-a-chilly-night treat.
