What are some local places to get svelte and save?
"There are so many ways to get a great workout in LA without spending a dime. There are the Fourth Street stairs, the stairs at Montana and Ocean, UCLA bleachers, hiking Temescal and the beach. My all time favorite is donation-based yoga. Don't think for a moment that yoga doesn't make you sweat. Power Yoga is an incredible physical workout and I always float out of there loaded up on endorphins. Many gyms and fitness studios offer free classes to new students.
Small group fitness classes are another great way to get personalized attention without the cost of one-on-one training. That's why my groups meet at Palisades Park in Santa Monica four times per week.
