Why should I meditate?
"We meditate to be present and as a result, it often brings a new level of peacefulness. When we become present to our senses, we live in the moment. And sometimes, we may not always be in touch with pleasant sensations, like having a headache. But when you focus on what it feels like, where it is, et cetera, without judging the sensation...then you take the power of it away.
Plus, twenty minutes of meditation can be equivalent to a three-hour nap. If you have trouble sleeping, meditation can help you enormously."
