Time to Spa-rty!

Send to a friend
Century Day Spa is looking better than ever.

This ancient form of Korean bathing just got hotter.

Aching for a rejuvenating day at the spa...without breaking your piggy bank? We know of an under-the-radar haven that offers an entire day of soak and sweat for a single Andrew Jackson--and thanks to a major renovation, it's now better than ever.

For only $20, Koreatown's Century Sports Club & Day Spa, fresh off a million-dollar facelift, invites you to steam in its eucalyptus-scented room, sweat in its jade sauna, plunge into its brisk pool and wade in its mugwort bath (a calming herb said to treat insomnia and promote digestion). Peckish? Try the new juice bar and Korean restaurant.

Plus Century just added a co-ed communal nap room known in Korean as a "Jim-Jil-Bang." (It's more modest than it sounds: everyone dons spa-issued T-shirts and shorts.) Take a date and enjoy the five co-ed rooms: hot clay, hot stones, hot mineral salts, gold (with real gold tiles!) and a refrigerated area called "The Ice Room."

Talk about steamy.

Know a few in-need spa-lovers? No sweat--round them up and have a spa-rty!
