Get a free waxing this weekend.

When it comes to discomfort on the waxing table, things can get a bit hairy.

Never fear: Floridian franchise European Wax Center recently opened three wax-only spots throughout The Southland, prioritizing pain reduction. And, while readying to launch a fourth location in Manhattan Beach, they're offering first-time guests gratis services at all locations this weekend for "Wax Weekend," June 4 & 5.  (Reserve by phone in advance!)

We stopped by the Woodland Hills spa to get to the root of it all:

You'll feel pampered and in good hands.  The waxing tables are heated and the waxers wear scrubs, never double-dipping a stick. 'Nuff said.

Hard wax is the bees' knees. Special (bright purple!) lavender-infused 100% "hard" beeswax is non-drying and--used solo without waxing strips--less painful because it doesn't grab the skin. Plus it's not sticky afterward!

The treatment doesn't end here. Thoughtfully formulated take-home products include antioxidant-rich Ingrown Hair Serum with exfoliating glycolic acid, anti-bacterial tea tree oil and soothing lavender oil & vitamin E.
