Q&A
Someone told me progesterone cream can help my PMS. Should I try it?
Natural progesterone, in either a cream or oral form, can be a very effective way to dramatically decrease PMS. Progesterone has a calming effect on mood, improves sleep and functions as a diuretic. While I think progesterone is a great way to treat the symptoms of PMS, there are other supplements that can help, too. Taking magnesium glycinate and vitamin A can also be beneficial. (As with any supplement, talk to your doctor first.)
