Dr. Foster explains juice cleansing.

We asked a holistic MD for the truth about sugars.

When it comes to weight loss, lots of us think grabbing a diet soda is healthier than swigging a sugary one. But according to LA local Cynthia Foster, MD, of Dr. Foster's Essentials, the chemicals in sugar substitutes could be doing more harm than good--in the form of headaches, depression, anxiety and--surprise!--even weight gain. Furthermore, your sweet tooth may be telling you that something in your body is out of whack.

We asked the holistic doc for her honey-tongued advice:

Q: I know that artificial sweeteners aren't great for me, but I don't want to get fat. Do they really make a difference?
A: Click here.

Q: I've heard that sugar is the devil. Is it that bad? How much is too much?
A: Click here.

Q: What are your basic diet do's and don't's?
A: Click here.

Q: Now that I'm cutting out fake stuff, I'd love to try a juice cleanse, but can't afford those pricey ones. Can you suggest a DIY version?
A: Click here.

A more wholesome way to lose weight? Sah-weet!
