U.B. Dancing

This trainer thinks you can dance.
Beside swaying palm trees and glamorous, old Hollywood villas, we cut loose. Footloose.
It was Vital Juice's LA popup wellness retreat, where a select crowd of LA's best fitness instructors and health gurus came together to strut their stuff. And dance fitness trainer Ilyse Baker gave us a sneak preview of her "I.B. Dancing Tour," where she'll travel from studio to studio in SoCal and teach dance moves to build hot bodies (watch her blog for dates). What we did:
Break it down. Baker showed us the footwork slowly, then repeated the moves 'til we memorized them. By the third repetition, we were sweating.
Add on. As soon as we had a move down, Baker taught another step, speeding up as we caught on. Within ten minutes, we were dancing...and panting.
Rock it. Baker turned on a Michael Jackson dance remix, and we kicked, turned and even did MJ-style pelvic tilts. The better we got, the faster we danced until we were pop-and-locking to the beat.
