Get to France in Three Steps

Lea Journo products are paraben- and sulfate-free.

Wash n' go waves? Done, French-style.

Scan hairstylist-to-the-stars Lea Journo's shelves, and you won't see piles of products. "In France, we'd rather have a little bit of something really good than a lot of something cheap," says Journo. The French creator (whose fabulous accent will transport you straight to Paris) used her new, paraben- and sulfate-free line to show us wash n' go waves are possible, even in high-style France--there's just one secret ingredient. How it's done:

Wash. Journo's shampoo is packaged in an unassuming eco-friendly pouch and made to keep natural keratin intact. "Sulfates remove keratin, which is why I won't touch them," Journo explained. "Keratin makes hair shiny and alive."

Lotion. New "La Forme" is the secret weapon. Made with French plum oil, cashmere and marine extracts, it was created by Journo especially for Orlando Bloom's famous waves. After towel drying, take a dab, scrunch it throughout the hair, then wind the hair into lots of twists. Let dry naturally.

Go. Gently finger-comb the twists, and voilà! You have shiny, luxurious waves that are light and grease-free.

Not French fried.
