Snack of the Month: Best of Both Worlds
When it comes to our favorite noshes, we're picking favorites.
If we had one wish, it would be world piece.
That is, we wish everyone could have a piece of our new go-to snack, World of Grains cookies.
True to their name, these crunchy biscuits contain a diverse "population" of grains such as wheat, oats, amaranth, quinoa, barley, millet, rye, buckwheat and more. Throw in some flaxseed and chicory and you've got a wholesome, all-natural snack (under 150 calories) that's also packed with omega-3s and fiber.
And they don't disappoint in the taste department either. Each of the mildly sweet flavors (like cranberry, oatmeal raisin and our favorite, blueberry) will satisfy a sugar or crunchy-carb craving. We especially like them with green tea to curb mid-afternoon hunger.
Stomach rumbling yet? Pick some up at a store near you and keep one of the single-serving packets in your handbag or drawer for the next time you need a filling, guilt-free snack.
It's a small meal, after all.
