A Mat Made in Heaven
It's time to take your love of yoga to the next level.
They say when you meet the one, you just know.
But when it comes to finding the right yoga mat, it's a little easier to fall head over heels (literally). Sky Meltzer, CEO of Manduka, tells us what to look for in a mat's profile:
"Ready for a long-term relationship." Durability is key, so look for a long-lasting material like natural rubber (it's the best non-synthetic choice).
"I'll protect you." You want a mat that'll provide comfort and support, so look for one thick enough to cushion your joints. You'll feel safe with this ultra-thick pick.
"Enjoys getting sweaty." Passionate about hot yoga? It can get slippery, so you'll need something with grip (beware: "sticky mats" often contain chemicals).
"Loves to travel." Wandering yoginis should look for something under two pounds, like this foldable mat.
"Values responsibility." For an eco-responsible mat, go for something PVC- and chemical-free (like this one).
*Looking for all of the above? This eligible candidate might just be your soul mat.
