Make Your Shower Work for You
Are you still just washing your hair? We asked the master of organic hair care -- John Masters, that is – for tricks to give your routine a low-manetenance makeover:
Start your wash with conditioner if you have damaged hair. Apply an intensive product first to wet hair, leave in for 5 - 15 minutes, apply shampoo (to hair with conditioner still in), then lather and rinse.
Massage your scalp during the shower – just a few minutes each time will stimulate hair growth.
Finish it off with organic apple cider vinegar to clarify hair (you can use a specialty product or grab the vinegar from your cabinet).
Rinse with cold water to seal the hair cuticle and ensure a shiny ?do.
Style it safely with an ionic ceramic dryer (if you blow-dry) for a quicker, less-damaging job. When brushing hair, make sure you're not over-doing it – daily over-brushing is a major cause of breakage.
