Go streaking with this DIY hair shadow.

We paint our nails ombré. We ask our colorist for ombré highlights. And when Lauren Conrad revealed her new rainbow hairstyle, we wanted it--but weren't sure we could commit to such a drastic color change.

Thanks to Kevin Murphy's new Color.Bug hair shadow, changing our color has gotten as easy as swapping lipstick shades. The celeb stylist developed the product for runway shows, but now the rest of us can get crazy-cool tresses, too.

Twist off the cap and apply the flat pod directly on your hair, as if you're painting the ends piece by piece. Try it in pink, purple or orange--or all three at once. "It gave me an instant boost of fun," our tester said. "I would totally wear this for a concert or a night out. I love that it washes out in one shampoo. And it's super easy and fast to apply." Just make sure to let it dry for a few minutes so it doesn't rub off on clothes.
