Game On
You've never meditated like this.
Angry Birds? Been there, beat that. Words With Friends? Always on your mind. Solitaire? Snooze!
But a new video game from Deepak Chopra promises more than just the thrill of beating your high score. Chopra's new meditation-focused game, Leela ("play" in Sanskrit) is set to hit stores on the auspicious date of 11/11/11.
Made for Xbox Kinect and Nintendo Wii, the game's goal is to help you engage and connect to your seven chakras (energy centers) by swaying in front of floating graphics onscreen. Xbox technology allows you to actually see and measure your breathing. Leela provides you with gentle feedback and tips to make your meditation experience better.
Order here.
Don't own a Wii or an Xbox? Try Equinox's new Leela Yoga class in the New York metro area or in Washington, DC. (It rolls out nationwide in January.) Find a location near you.
You've got game.
