Don't let Whole Foods take up your Whole Paycheck.

Welcome to Extreme Couponing: Whole Foods edition.

You're a savvy saver. But when it comes to shopping at Whole Foods, you're stumped. So we asked eco-lifestyle guru Danny Seo (pictured) for his tricks to make sure your next Whole Foods trip doesn't eat up your Whole Paycheck.

  • Be a clipper. "Mainstream brands like Kashi and Silk publish coupons in the Sunday newspaper. And Whole Foods has downloadable coupons on their website. You're saving about $40 right there." Download coupons here.
  • Show social media love. "Make a list of your top ten items. Then, hit the 'Like' button for all of them on Facebook. Brands like Morningstar Farms and Honest Tea regularly release coupons to their Facebook fans. Or, tweet that you love a specific product. Even emailing a company directly works pretty well. Method cleaning products reward fans with coupons for nice emails."
  • Join a coupon club. "Sign up for Recyclebank and learn tips on going a little bit more green. Each time you pledge to do something, your account is rewarded with points. Shop with those points for deals on things like $2 off two packages of Earthbound Farm organic salad mixes. The average Recyclebank members saves about $133 each year." Join for free here.
