So we turned to Dr. Barry Sears, creator of The Zone Diet, for the slimmest picks on any menu. His first rule of thumb: Divide your plate into thirds. "One third should be a lean protein; the rest should be fruit and vegetables," he says. "Treat the bread and grains like condiments."
