Nicobella's Traditional Rustic Truffles
Makes about 1/2 pound
Ingredients:
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 c. plus 1 Tbs. sweetened condensed milk
1 pinch salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation:
Melt chocolate, without stirring, in top of a double boiler. Remove from heat and add condensed milk, salt and vanilla. Stir until blended. Refrigerate until firm. Using teaspoon or watermelon scoop, form ganache into 1" balls and place on waxed paper. Roll in your favorite garnish such as cocoa powder and sugar, crushed almond or coconut. Enjoy!
