MAP"I love being outdoors with my husband and our dog. Palos Trails in the southern suburbs has 16 miles of unpaved trail and it's great because not a lot of people get out there."

Go to market.
1500 N. Damen Ave., MAP"My husband and I like to cook together, so we go to Wicker Park Farmers' Market to stock up on veggies. Our favorite vendor is Nichols Farms--they grow amazing heirloom veggies."

Get taken away.
"I love soaking in an Epsom salt bath and reading. Getting absorbed in a fiction novel and building landscapes in my mind is the best vacation."
